Is it a boy or is it a girl? The million dollar question that we'll be glad to have an answer to on Wednesday! Derek and I have been looking forward to this week for too many weeks now. Although, as soon as we let everyone know, the next question will be, "Have you thought of any names yet?" We'll let you know the answer to that in 5 months....
Last few days of Baby Newton being a little bit more of a mystery. Will it be Baby Boy Newton or Baby Girl Newton? We can't wait to immediately head to the store and pick out the decor and some baby clothes. Looks like next week is going to be a little more exciting that some of the past few! A couple more days and the real planning can get started. So let me tell you about some fun stuff THIS week:
I've had another week of feeling really good. Energy is great, attitude
is great and appetite is great-ER ;) Krispy Kreme sucked me in one day
when I drove by with that "Hot Now" sign. I polished off an entire box
of Samoas in 3 days, by myself! The line at Michaels was too long and I
was forced to buy a bag of happy little Sour Patch Kids. And if I didn't
have self control, I could have eaten an entire bag of Chocolate Covered
Pomegranates from Costco. (Bright side is, look at all the antioxidants I
consumed!)With all that being said, I'm waiting for the doctor to tell me how much weight I've gained and not checking it myself this week.
Sweet Potato: Baby continues to grow and is about 5.6 inches long and weighs almost 7 ounces. This is the week to find out if it's a boy or a girl! Either there are
noticeable genitals on our little boy or lack there of for our little
girl. If it's a girl, she's formed her uterus and fallopian tubes by
now. Baby Newton is yawning, hiccuping, sucking and swallowing. On top of that, it's twisting, rolling, punching and kicking too! (The extra movement must be the reason for the excessive sweet tooth.) Pretty sure that this child will be a super hero!
